Under certain situations after a breast cancer diagnosis, patients have the opportunity to consider total removal of a breast (mastectomy) or breast-conserving surgery (lumpectomy).
Local breast cancer patients and survivors meet twice monthly to share feelings and concerns and receive emotional support through small group discussion. These meetings are facilitated by two breast cancer survivors who consider it an honor to share in each person’s journey.
Pink Alliance works in a variety of ways to be there for you, your family and the community. These points illustrate our efforts to serve breast cancer patients and survivors in the Brazos Valley. With continued fundraising success, we can expand our breast cancer awareness efforts and serve even more patients and survivors.
